Declaration of Personal Information Protection

Sankyo Giken Ind. Co., Ltd. (hereafter, "the Company") considers it important as its social responsibility to properly protect the personal information about all its customers and other stakeholders. The Company will therefore ensure that all personal information is thoroughly protected, controlled, managed, and used according to the following principles:

Principles of Personal Information Protection

These protection principles set forth the basic requirements to be followed in order to properly control and manage the personal information owned by the Company.

1. Compliance with laws and norms

The Company observes the laws and norms relevant to personal information.

2. Ensuring that proper information control is performed

The Company appoints managers of personal information and takes measures to properly prevent and correct any illegal use, loss, destruction, tampering, and leakage of personal information. The Company also trains all its workers on "handling personal information" and properly controls it. The Company also controls corporate information, considering it as important as personal information.

3. Purpose and scope of collection

When taking any personal information into its custody, the Company will indicate explicitly why it needs to collect said information and will only collect it to the degree deemed necessary.

4. Use in the scope of the purpose of information

The Company shall not use, provide, or commission any personal information beyond the scope of the purpose of collection to which its customers, their guardians, or persons in a similar position agree or beyond the requirements of relevant laws or norms.

5. Limitation and control of use or other operation

The Company keeps all personal information it owns confidential and properly controls it so as not to handle said information beyond the scope of the purpose of collection agreed on or the scope of requirements under relevant laws and norms.
When communicating any personal information with any outside party according to the scope of the purpose of collection agreed on, the Company will control said information to ensure its handling under strict control.

6. Continuous improvement

To control the personal information it owns, the Company will monitor all changes in relevant laws, norms, and information technology, constantly review its management mechanism, and make continuous improvement.
